Buying guides
A history report pulls records from insurers, repair shops and state title offices using the vehicle's VIN.
Check these first: title brands like salvage or flood, reported accidents, the number of owners, and gaps in odometer readings.
One minor accident with a quality repair isn't a deal breaker. A rebuilt title, frame damage or an odometer rollback is.
F-150 Raptor: a full-size pickup with long-travel suspension. The best all-rounder if you need a bed and want to tow.
Ram TRX: the most power and the softest ride over rough ground, with fuel bills to match.
Bronco Raptor and Wrangler 392: shorter and narrower, so they fit tighter trails. Both take their roofs and doors off.
Not sure? Tell us how you'll use it and we'll point you to the right one in stock.
Drive on city streets and the highway. Listen for clunks over bumps, feel for vibration at speed, and brake firmly once in a safe spot.
On a 4×4, engage four-wheel drive and any lockers, and check that the warning lights clear when you switch back.
Test every button: windows, climate, screens and cameras. Afterward, look under the vehicle for fresh drips.
Start with a call: ask for extra photos of anything you want to see closely, and the VIN for a history report.
Send a Buy now request to hold the vehicle. We agree payment by phone, sign documents electronically and book delivery.
When it arrives, inspect it with the driver before you sign the delivery receipt.
